LIVE THROUGH LOVE Benefit Concert

Last night I had the honor to perform in a benefit concert for a great cause. The concert was for the LIVE THROUGH LOVE: Dream in Color Foundation that stands against discrimination. We had a night of wonderful entertainment from various artists throughout the indianapolis area who all shared their gifts.
Here are a few photos from the night!
I will post a video soon of my performance of "I Hope you Dance".
Stay Tuned!

In Between Shows

I have a 2 month break in between when "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" closed at The Fulton until "Les Miserables" begins rehearsals at Beef and Boards. During that time, I have been able to create a wonderful summer vacation :) Here are a few highlights from my summer:

Right after "Joseph" closed my husband and I went to a family reunion in Denver, CO! Great times!

We then traveled to TN to visit my family where we attended a Bluegrass concert that was underground 300ft in a cave.
Check out "The Cleverly's"!

On my birthday, my best-friend Kara Farmer got married!

Now, I am currently having the lucky opportunity to work at the US OPEN!
What an incredible experience!

I hope you have had a wonderful summer!

Joseph Update

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at The Fulton Opera House has been wonderful. Our audiences have been packed every night and my husband, Nathan (who is playing Joseph) and I are loving working together. My family came and visited from Tennessee this past weekend to celebrate Fathers Day and we are looking forward to many more of our friends and family to come and visit in the upcoming weeks.

My aunt, uncle, grandma, mom and dad all came to visit for Fathers Day!

Rehearsals for JOSEPH at The Fulton Opera House!

Rehearsals have been going well and we are having an invited Dress Rehearsal tonight. This will be our first audience! We are so excited and the show is coming together smoothly. This show has so much dance, color, heart, and excitement. It is a thrill to be performing in this show and to be a part of this great cast.
We officially open on June 6th and run until the end of the month. My husband, Nathan is playing Joseph and we are loving getting the chance to work together again. We are lucky that our day of work never feels like going to work. We feel very blessed!

Grease Press Day

We are one week into rehearsals here at The Palace theatre in NH, and one week from opening. We ran Act One off book after two days of rehearsal, and are preparing for Tech week now. Just yesterday, Thursday, we had a full day of press. Our day started out with video interviews and then on to radio interviews. It was so much fun doing the green screen video! A scrolling Danny and Sandy on the bottom of local TV Channels will air in about 3 weeks! :)
We then went on to continue photo shoots at a local diner and then also a bowling alley. Enjoy some of the pics! What a fun day!

Happy Easter!

Behold a Man upon the cross
My sin upon His shoulders.
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers.
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished.
His dying breath has brought me life,
I know that it is finished.

Opening Night of ANN on Broadway

I had the wonderful privilege of being invited to the opening night of ANN on Broadway starring Holland Taylor. Not only did this incredible woman star in this 2 hour one woman show but she also wrote the play. She is a force to be reckoned with!
The play is based on Ann Richards, a once governor of Texas.
It was a magical evening! If you get a chance, go check out ANN on Broadway playing at the Vivian Beaumont theatre at Lincoln Center.

The real Ann Richards seen below:

The after party was held at the gorgeous Plaza Hotel where there were stars in attendance such as Anne Hathaway, Laura Linney, and Gloria Steinam.
Here are a few pictures from the party:

What's Goin' On?

"Welcome to my new site!"

This blog will be a place where I can share all different types of things with you!  Business, personal, and maybe even random, who knows?!

Lets start it off with 3 random facts about me:

1.  I love listening to bluegrass.
Anything that has a banjo and a violin, I am happy. :)

2.  When I was in kindergarten, I asked my class to call me Ariel. (like the mermaid, of course)

3. "Friends" is my favorite TV show.
